I am no longer a virgin when it comes to European winter. It’s not my first cold-weather rodeo and have in fact braved several German winters and let me tell you, they’re not warm.
I know what you’re saying, I’m from Australia and therefore probably have a low tolerance when it comes to feeling cold. But honestly, I think we can all unanimously agree that -12 degrees celsius is fucking cold.
Ok? Now we got that out of the way, what on earth does one wear when faced with sub-zero (literally) temperatures. Honestly my number one tip is don’t go outside. But if you absolutely must leave the heated warmth of inside, your only hope of surviving harsh German winds is to layer up.
Even though outside it’s cold enough to freeze your tits off, inside everywhere is heated to the heavens, so a quick stripping of layers is going to do you wonders.

Love your style tips — I am definitely taking notes <3
PS. This might be a typical Canadian thing to say…but -12 degrees celsius is a walk in the park compared to the -40 winters I weathered growing up in Saskatchewan. *Face Palm* When it comes to survival, layers are truly the name of the game.

Haha yes -40 definitely wins! I genuinely don’t know if I could handle …
wonderful outfit
Layering is key when trying to stay warm in the winter. IT’S STILL COLD HERE…IT’S ALMOST APRIL…I’M TIRED OF LAYERING…I’M TIRED OF WINTER…I’M READY FOR SPRING…but layering is key…you know…while it is still cold.
